For Kind Labs, this is an opportunity to help more educators make wellbeing part of everyday classroom life. Founded by teacher and wellbeing educator Jenny Dunn, Kind Labs brings together professional learning and practical resources that teachers can return to throughout the school day.

Four hours of accredited learning for ACT teachers

The Daily 5 of Wellbeing is listed by the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) as a 2026 accredited course, with course number 009095. Teachers can complete four hours of accredited professional learning online, at their own pace.

The course is designed for Preschool to Year 6 educators and explores ways to support both teacher and student wellbeing. Short lessons make it easier to fit learning around a busy school schedule, with practical activities to take back to the classroom.

NESA recognition for Kind Labs in NSW

Kind Labs is also a recognised professional development provider with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA). This recognition applies to Kind Labs as a provider; the four-hour course accreditation described above is through TQI in the ACT.

NSW teachers can record relevant professional learning in their PD log, identifying the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers addressed and the time completed. Teachers should follow NESA's current requirements when recording their learning.

Small practices that fit real classrooms

At the heart of the course is The Daily 5 of Wellbeing: train your brain, know and care for yourself, care for others, connect with nature, and be creative. These five practices give teachers a starting point for everyday moments of reflection, kindness and connection.

The course includes 12 chapters and 67 short lessons, alongside more than 200 printable activity cards. Each card offers a bite-sized classroom micro-lesson based on The Daily 5, helping teachers turn professional learning into something they can use with their students.

From a morning feelings check-in to a mindful pause between lessons, the focus is on approachable activities that can become part of familiar classroom routines.
